26th
The Westin Horton Plaza tells NLGLA that some attendees had tried to reserve hotel rooms via online reservations last week. Attendees were informed by the system that Wednesday night was sold out.
NLGLA
has since added additional rooms at the special discounted conference
rate for Wednesday night. If you were one
of the several individuals attempting to reserve the hotel for
Wednesday night, the night BEFORE the opening of the Career
Fair, we invite you to go back to online reservations and
reserve your room at the conference rate.

Michael Greenberg Student Writing Competition Winners!
It
is our pleasure to announce the winning entries of this year's
competition. First, thanks to all the students who submitted
articles. This year's judges were impressed with the quality
and the quantity
of the submissions. The first
place award winner receives a $1,000 cash prize, publication in the Journal of Law and Sexuality at Tulane University Law School , and complimentary registration, airfare & lodging for Lavender Law 2005 in San Diego, California.

National Lesbian and Gay Law Association invites its members

Website. NLGLA has recently updated
its technological abilities to include new features that
will work for legal professionals across the nation. These
features include the useful national calendar and helpful
discussion boards.

your activities with NLGLA?
NLGLA
has undertaken an archives project. The NLGLA office needs
full and complete samples of previous conferences' programs and
materials. Any photographs or recordings are especially
welcome, as are materials about Dan Bradley and Michael Greenberg. Please
contact info@nlgla.org to see if your materials will help complete
NLGLA's files.
